CRT Development Experience
Beginning in 1995, CRT Realty & Development, Inc. (“CRT”) had a key role in planning and development for Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. assisted living facilities in Sandy Springs, City of Atlanta, City of Decatur, Fulton County, Cobb County and other jurisdictions in Georgia and the Southeast.
Since it’s inception CRT has developed high quality yet affordable age-restricted communities in the Atlanta Metro Area. Each community in the CRT portfolio uses Low Income Housing Tax Credits (“LIHTC”) as a component of the financing calculus. We specialize in affordable, independent living for folks aged 55 and older either as a stand-alone project or part of a master-planned community. Our ability to showcase a property with luxurious furnishings, extensive community areas and lush landscaping all come together to create the CRT ‘signature’ for those properties that fall under the CRT development umbrella.
CRT served Sunrise Senior Living in their multi-year development expansion in the Southeast. Services for Sunrise included land acquisition and pre-development approvals for 12 assisted living facilities in Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Louisiana. CRT services for Sunrise included pre-development, market analysis, site selection, operating permits including Certificates of Need and land acquisition.
